Virtaal

Autoterm provides terminology files for Virtaal to download and use. Web look-up allows you to look up some selected text on various Web sites. Differences in translation memory are now highlighted for non-100% TM matches. New plugins for machine translation with Google and Moses have been added. Automatic language identification makes it simpler to select language pairs. New autocorrect files for Luxembourgish and Croatian and new translations for Sotho, Northern Sotho, Songhay, Korean, and Ukrainian.

New translations were added for Turkish, Finnish, and Vietnamese. The translations for Russian, Dutch, and Zulu were updated. Handling of "recent files" was made more complete. Alignment with the GNOME human interface guidelines was improved. More reliable ways of obtaining the default font settings are used. Handling of HTML tags in the Apertium MT module was improved. Small layout improvements were made. This release will also benefit from some bugfixes in the Translate Toolkit, including improvements for XLIFF support, and some bugfixes in placeables and the tmserver.
