專案描述

Taprobane is a convenient GNU/Linux distribution based on Debian. It can be installed to a hard drive or used as a live CD. The philosophy of Taprobane is to bring in convenience without insulting the intelligence of the user. Its key feature is Saegiri, the configurable build system used to automate the creation of the entire ISO.

This release featured better handling of Nvidia drivers. Unionfs warning messages were removed. The CD is now ejected before shutdown or reboot. mplayer now uses xv as the default vo device. ifplugd, ndiswrapper, and wlan tools were included and numerous minor fixes were made.

This version added remastering scripts, cloop-utils, the baghira theme, the make program, and an info browser. The package list was updated before creating the CD, the shell was made more geeky, VLC was removed as it depends on freefont, and /vmlinuz was fixed.
