SmartEar allows you to assign different sounds to
each of your buddies and/or groups in gAIM. The
sound can be set to play on four different events
independently: receiving an IM, buddy signon,
buddy returns from idle, and buddy returns from
away. A timer is also built in so that a given
sound only plays once within a certain time period.
