NUTSS (NAT, URIs, Tunnels, SIP, and STUNT) is a
network architecture that combines data-decoupled
signaling and data-coupled signaling to establish
Internet flows. The goal is to enable intermediary
systems like firewalls and NATs, which can
intercept the signals, to discover the intent of a
network connection. The intermediaries can then
facilitate the connection setup or enforce other
policies.
