mercurysms is a command line application that
allows you to send text messages through Web-based
gateways for little to no cost. Because it is
command line based, it can be used in scripts, Web
sites, and other scenarios where a graphical
interface is not required or wanted. Support for
gateways is achieved through the use of plain-text
configuration files which can also be shared with
the version for Microsoft Windows users.
