Support was added for installing packages within .dmg (dynamic disk images) files. If you have a directory containing multiple .dmg files, you can easily install all the packages in the root directory of all .dmg files within a specified directory. The ability to deal with .dmg files makes deployment of packages via an http, rsync, ftp, or scp server particularly easy.
