專案描述

EQU is a realtime graphical equalizer that will
equalize the audio of almost everything you play through
XMMS (OGG, MP3, WAV, etc.). You can choose four
different band configurations (10, 15, 25 and 31), all of them with ISO central frequencies, independent gain settings
for left and right channels, and more than +-14dB
of gain per band.
It features a skinnable GUI and shadowed mode.

New features include skin support, a faster round
function for x86, an assembly round function for
PPC, and automatic attenuation of the volume when
turning off the EQ. The preamp control now
provides correct -12dB, +12dB preamplification.
Code cleanup was done. Bugfixes were made here and
there.

A fixed point implementation for the core has been added (not necessarily faster than floating point). There are minor optimizations to the floating point implementation. Code has been added (enable at compile time) to do some benchmarking of the implementations of the filter core. You can choose to perform only one filter pass to save half of the CPU cycles.

A configuration dialog box was added, so there is no more need to recompile the
source code to use a different number of bands or use independent settings for
each channel. The filter implementation was also optimized a little, resulting
in reduced CPU usage.
