專案描述

DVD-Baker generates a DVD consisting of menus and
slideshows from a picture collection stored in a
Menalto Gallery G2 Web site or in a locally stored
directory tree. Each "leaf" album (an album that
does not contain sub-albums) is used to create a
slideshow. The slideshows (and any DVD-ready MPEG
videos) are made accessible on the DVD with menus
that follow the structure of the Web site or
directories. Extra features include random or
sequential autoplay, and audio support.
Since dvd-slideshow is used to produce each slideshow,
it supports effects such as crossfades, crops, and 'Ken Burns' effects.

A few important features have been added. The most requested may be the ability to specify the gallery album to bake (rather than the user's root album), and the ability to specify an album to use to create a DVD leader (a title played before the root menu is shown). Also included is an optional 'Options Menu System', which can be accessed by pressing the 'SUBTITLE' button (or F3 in gxine) to toggle options such as SUBTITLES, AUTOPLAY, and REPEAT during playback. Minor cleanups and bugfixes are included.

A bug in the gallery g2 modules was corrected. The
leader ability was added to recipes, including
creation of a blank leader if one is not defined,
which should improve standalone compatibility. (A
leader is a video clip to be played before the
root menu is shown.) A logical error with autoplay
and random options was corrected. A button
highlighting feature was added so that the
currently selected button in the root menu doesn't
change after timeout when autoplay is off.

Permutations of JPEG, JPG, and PNG were added to
the list of known images. Definitions of filenames
to ignore for subtitles were added for many brands
of digital cameras. Gallery 2.1 compatibility was
updated and verified.
