cpp xstream is a collection of several streambuf
and iostream classes that allow a programmer to
compress and decompress data transparently with
gzip or bzip2, to serialize composite types to
xdr, to encode or decode with base64, and to tee
output from one channel to several others. These
streams can be stacked on each other.
