This version features quad-direction resizing and rounded
window corners. Windows now snap when being resized
or non-opaque-moved. Window can be dragged by their
handles. Desktop-switching key bindings are generated
to match the number of desktops present. There is a a
new default style and wallpaper. Keymaps can be safely
changed on the fly. Key names in configuration are now
case-insensitive. Switching to a desktop now focuses the
window last focused. A number of bugs and segfaults
have been fixed. Some groundwork for a GUI
configuration tool (kaconf) is now in place, and even
somewhat demo-able.
Support for a completely new (and much nicer) style file format was added along with horizontal and vertical maximization (using right/middle click on the maximize button). There were also fixes and cleanups.
This release includes directional window focusing, shrinking, and growing (implemented in Python, not in the core). The 3x3 black box in the corner was fixed, windows now snap to the dock, and a bunch of other less significant bugfixes were made.
